This infographic was created to highlight the historical figure, Jack Roosevelt Robinson, also known as Jackie Robinson. Jackie Robinson's life and legacy will be remembered as one of the most important in American history. Robinson stood defiantly against those who would work against racial equality and acknowledge the profound influence of one man's life on the American culture. 
Jackie Robinson was baseball player on the Major League Brooklyn Dodgers team and the Minor League Montreal Royals. He was the vice president for the major American Corporation, "Chock Full O' Nuts." He was the first acknowledged African American player to perform in the Major Leagues in the 20th century and went on to be the first to win a batting title in 1949 and in the same year was the first to win the Most Valuable Player award. In 1962, Robinson was the to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He was an agile, fast player in the Minor and Major League. As a rookie, Robinson's pride, self-confidence, focus, reflexes, resilience, strength, visual acuity and self-discipline allowed him to break through the color barrier within the baseball industry.
Whether Jackie's was bunting, hitting, stealing, or making an amazing play, he caught the eye of mainstream society. As this brave and courageous man was an archetype for the industry, the crucial and influential sides of this professional allowed him to become a successful and significant competitor in history.  Jackie Robinson has the mental and physical ability to conquer the critics and negativity that people put forth towards him. The segregation and isolation that he experienced took a toll on him. Through it all, the support of his family and the people who believed in him allowed for the success Jackie made.
